Artist Bio:
Kelli Dawson is an interdisciplinary visual artist living and working in the Midwest of Western Australia. Her practice demonstrates a strong sense of place, incorporating sculpture, mixed media, printmaking, installation, as well as public and community art projects. She explores personal memory and local histories, alongside the character, wonder, and fragility of the Western Australian coastline, interior settings from her past, and her immediate surroundings. The language of materials is central to her work, with a particular focus on found objects, collections, and the narratives embedded within them.
